     The Ellora caves located in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra in India, Ellora Caves, along with the nearby Ajanta Caves. There is something great about this place that takes you to a journey in the history where all these religions born and grew together. There are over 100 caves at the site, all excavated from the basalt cliffs in the Charanandri Hills and 34  of which monasteries and temples are carved and dug together on the wall of a huge basalt cliff in and open for visiting.

     _The Rani ki vav


     Rani Ki Vav is an ancient step-well and Situated in Patan, Gujarat. that was built by Rani Udaymati in 11th Century AD.  It is located on the banks of Saraswati River. Stepwells are a distinctive form of subterranean water resource and it has storage systems on the Indian subcontinent, If you go to see each of them up close, even their expressions and ‘mudras’ (gestures) are evident. When the Saraswati River changed course due to tectonic disturbances, it flooded the step-well that both beautified and preserved it next. At the centre of the well lies a carving of Sheshnag Vishnu, that displays precious and mysterious look and built of brick. Step-wells are not only a place for interaction and socializing but, as the temple suggests, even places where the royal families would seek refuge at during the months of dreary summers with the water acting as a natural coolant



 Up to the town of Sidhpur near Patan, there is even a 30 km long tunnel that runs through the step-well which leads to the neighboring town of Siddhpur, used by the king to seek refuge in the time of war, It was used as an escape gateway for the king, who built the step well in the times of defeat.  It is huge level of scientific and architectural prowess would it have taken to conjure up a monument. It is antique and best place to visit.

      Taj Mahal located in the Indian city of Agra. It is an ivory-white marble, mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river. Built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1653 on the large area of 17-hectare , it is one of the most precious gestures of love to ever be materialized on the face of earth. Rabindranath Tagore famously said about this place, “The Taj Mahal rises above the banks of the river like a solitary tear suspended on the cheek of time”.The Taj Mahal designed and expands on design traditions of Persian and earlier Mughal architecture. There is a sense of melancholy as one approaches the monument, a sense of pain of a lover separated from his wife by death. The imperial court documenting Shah Jahan's grief after the death of Mumtaz Mahal illustrate the love story held as the inspiration for Taj Mahal. There is a big story behind that.

The white marble was bought in from Makrana in Rajasthan and was transported by elephants. In its days of  the Taj Mahal was builded with no less than 28 types of precious stones, brought  from Tibet and Persia.  Like the moods of queen, the exterior of the Taj also changes colors from a pinkish hue in the dawn to a dull gold at noon and finally, all enduring  whitish sparkling under the moonlight.The Taj Mahal attracts a large number of tourists, Most tourists visit in the cooler months of October, November and February.
